3AGAZ enjoyed applying their problem‑solving skills in maths today while tackling a pizza party challenge. They used careful reading and logical elimination to work out who would be eating each pizza.

This week, Year 3 children have started their new history topic. The children had an introduction to the Ancient Egyptians with a fun and engaging workshop at Cross Corners.

Year 3 are starting to read a new book! We looked at some clues and asked questions about our new book 'George's marvellous medicine'!

Today, in Science, 4CK explored musical instruments to investigate how sounds are made. We enjoyed figuring out how they can be played and finding out what sounds they make and how they make sounds!

Year 3 visited the local Mosque. They had a tour of the mosque, learnt about Ramdhan and the importance of that month to Muslims. They also learnt why and how Muslims pray.

Year 3 have been researching about Nigeria. They have collated information and are preparing to write their report!

Year 3 had their CLS workshop on Romans. They looked at coins and investigated Roman objects and guessed what they were used for!

In PSHE, Year 3 have been working collaboratively to design a garden. They worked on being a landscaper, looked at their budget and planned their event.
