2LD have been using ‘Scratch Junior’ to design and create their own programmes including questions and moving their sprites.

Year 2 took part in a Victorian wash day as part of their history work on the Victorians. We listened to the story of 'Mrs Tiggywinkle' by Beatrix Potter and then experienced what it was like to wash clothes in the Victorian Times.

Spring Term 25-26

For British Science week, year 2 children tested which aeroplane is the best. We made gliders, helicopters and paper aeroplanes. In the end, we found that the helicopter was the best due to the upthrust force and surface area.

In PSHE, Year 2 have been creating birds for a Garden Dreams as part of working together as a group.

Year 1 and 2 attended a special assembly this morning from Severn Trent. We learned about the journey of water, how it gets into and out of our homes and played an interactive quiz on how we can save water.
