MellorPE and Sport Premium
Primary schools in England have been awarded a PE and Sports grant to improve the quality of provision of PE and to help to inspire a generation to enjoy sport. This funding is ring-fenced so it is only to be spent on PE and sport and each school will decide how it is to be used to best support their children's needs. Information relating to how funding for Sports has been spent at our school can be found below:

Children at Mellor take part in a wide range of sporting activities including inter-school competitions. We have the School Games Platinum Mark and encourage life-long participation in sport.
We provide a whole school approach to physical education, school sport, physical activity and health and wellbeing and this can be viewed below:
At Mellor we provide enhanced swimming provision for KS2 children in years 4 and 5. They swim every other half term.
