School Meals

Our Catering Provider

Our school meals are provided by LTS, they have the Silver Food for Life Accreditation and cook 90% of our food fresh on site.  They have a commitment both for working sustainably and to providing the school with quality, nutritious food.  Menus work on a three-week rotation with two meal choices offered daily.  School meals are priced at £2.34 per day.  All meals should be ordered and paid for via ParentPay.

 Universal Free School Meals

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes automatically receive universal infant free school meals.  However, if you meet the qualifying criteria, completing an application for benefits-related free school meals could also help your child access free activities and food provision during the school holidays. 


Benefits - Related Free School Meals

Anyone who meets one of the criteria for benefits-related free meals, listed below, are encouraged to apply.  Children in Key Stage 2 can only access free school meals via this route.  

  • Income support
  • Income-based jobseeker's allowance
  • Income-related employment and support allowance
  • Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • Child tax credit (provided you’re not also entitled to working tax credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
  • The guarantee element of state pension credit
  • Working tax credit run-on - paid for four weeks after you stop qualifying for working tax credit.
  • Universal credit with annual net earned income of less than £7,400
